Short Attention Span Workshops SAS** no experience necessary!
You don't need experience with Stained Glass, Mosaics or Fusing to attend these workshops! We provide the tools, materials and teach you what you need to know to create an exciting project.
Spectrum96 Fusing Center - Call to set up a date and time! SAS** no experience necessary
Treat yourself or bring a group ... birthday party, team building, just because get-together. Use the Spectrum Fusing center to create a coaster, plate or bowl. Select your project , choose elements for your design, create the project and we'll fuse it. Plan about 2 hours to create your project. Bring a friend and get 1/2 off your workshop fee. Childrens parties (10 years & up) can be arranged. Workshop Fee: $10 Project prices vary.

Woven Stringer Bowl

Use layers of glass stringers to create this distinctive one-of-a-kind bowl. Select your favorite colors and plaid pattern. After learning the technique you can re-create the bowl in many different colors, patterns and shapes. $135, includes all materials and two firings - one to fuse, one to slump into a mold. Register by Saturday, April 26 to ensure your choice of colors.
Stained Glass
Learn the art of stained glass, increase you knowledge or just enjoy working with others! With stained glass you can create panels for your windows, lamp shades, boxes, suncatchers and more.
The next evening session begins Tuesday, May 6, 6:30-9pm for 6 weeks
Would you rather have a daytime class? Begin any Wednesday - 10am-12:30 for 6 consecutive weeks.

Soldering Skills Workshop
Saturday, May 10, 1-3pm or Thursday, May 22, 6:30-8:30pm
Are you having trouble with soldering? Join this soldering workshop for tips and techniques to perfect your skills. You will learn how to diagnose and correct typical problems that arise while soldering. We will also touch on decorative soldering techniques as time allows. Bring a minimum if eight pieces of glass (2" x 4") foiled and ready to solder. Bring your soldering iron, solder, flux, and flux brush so we can troubleshoot any equipment problems.

Let's melt glass! This is a basic fusing class covering types of glass to use, compatibility, firing schedules and more while creating a bowl or plate and coasters. $200 Includes project book and all materials.

Third Thursday Fusing - Fabulous Fusers
6:30-7pm: Those who attended the previous month's technique workshop will discuss results of the last project and, time permitting, trouble shoot any fusing projects you may be struggling with, discuss networking and learning how to prepare to feature your glass fusing pieces for exhibits in galleries and festivals.
7-9pm: Technique workshop. Work on the technique decided on in the last month's meeting. This portion of the meeting is open to all members. You must pre-register for the meeting so we have enough materials for everyone. Call (770-792-6006 or email colonialsg@att.net)
Cost is just $20 per meeting plus the cost of materials required for the featured technique. Members will get discounts on fusing supplies.
The fine print for our classes:
Classes have limited space, a deposit of half your class fee will reserve your place in the class.
Refunds for classes will be given if you cancel more than ten days before the class or if the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
Pregnant or nursing women should check with your Doctor before enrolling.
Make-up classes are not available.
